Thanksgiving

We had a lot to be thankful for this year for Thanksgiving; family and especially little miss Alice. We celebrated one whole week with this little angel on Thanksgiving day. I was a little paranoid taking Alice our at only one week old, but I was not going to celebrate Thanksgiving at home by myself especially with my family in town. Before we went over for dinner at my parents house Andy's mom and family came over to help him make fried pies. Oh, Andy deep fried turkeys again this year and like last year he wanted to do a dessert. This year it was deep fried pies.

My mom's sister Laurie her husband Chris and my cousin Ryan flew in from Utah and my cousin Greg and his family drove up from Florida to celebrate Thanksgiving and also to bless Alice. Aunt Lindsey also flew in from Utah for a quick weekend to meet her new niece. We made my cousin Greg carve the turkey. That's Mandi his wife giving him moral support. He had never carved a turkey so I was giving him instructions as he went.

Aunt Lindsey even made a trip out to meet her new niece. She got in 10 minutes before we started eating. This is a picture of the first time she saw Alice.
Thanksgiving was awesome. We had wonderful food, a great time with family and of course the celebration of the life of our baby girl Alice. I don't think life could get any better.
