This week I was able to do two different cakes for my friend Emily. The first one was for her sister or sister in law's birthday. Her husband wanted a whimsical cake that was jeweled tones.
The second cake was for a baby shower. The theme was Thing 1 and Thing 2. I have wanted to do a Dr. Seuss cake for a long time and was so happy to get the chance. Dr. Seuss characters are so cute. 
Besides Thing 1 and Thing 2 I had to throw in the fish from the cat and the hat.
